Tako Karaage (Deep fried Octopus)

1 handful roughly chopped Octopus
Frying oil

2 tsp Soy sauce
2 tsp Sake
2 tbsp katakuriko (potato starch flour)
2 tbsp Flour (optional)

Season the sliced octopus with Soy sauce and Sake for 10 minutes, then thinly coat with flour. You coat it again with the starch flour, it prevents bursting.
Fry in 170°C oil for about one minute, or until the coating becomes crisp.
