Time: Overnight (5-8 hours)

Ingredients
4 eggs
1 clove of garlic
2 slices of ginger (see picture)

Spices
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup mirin
1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions
Boil soy sauce, sake, mirin and 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan
Transfer mixture to a Tupperware container and add ginger, garlic, and sesame oil and wait for it cool
Starting with cold water, add eggs, and after it reaches a boil, cook for 5 minutes
Put boiled eggs into cold water, then carefully remove shells
Once eggs have been shelled and are cool, transfer eggs to the Tupperware container and marinate overnight in the refrigerator
